UNDERSTANDING ZIMBABWE 7 – 100 years captivity

February 15, 2014 at 21:36 4 comments

Now we come to a remarkable piece of revelation of the Word of God that applies to Zimbabwe and helps us understand why Europe was tasked to colonise Zimbabwe and bring the gospel to Zimbabwe. …. God planned a 100 year captivity program for Zimbabweans. God planned 430 years captivity for Israel in Egypt, from Abraham to Joshua. After Israel was captive for 430 years, they possess the land. Israel had a 70 year captivity in Babylon.

Robert Mugabe claims he has a divine calling to carry out the farm invasions and the indigenization program. he is correct. Like Nebuchadnezzar was driven to invade Israel, Mugabe has been driven to possess the farms, mines, and natural resources. God is sovereign.

prov 19.12 The king’s wrath [is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour [is] as dew upon the grass.

I have sat in White commercial farming clubs from 1980 to 2000 and heard farmers, week after week mock, despise, complain and criticise Mugabe. Is it any surprise that he was weary of these people? His wrath was the roaring of the lion. When he roared, the ex war veterans and their new recruits listened to him, and then the farm invasions happened. These invasions were predicted in the prophecy A prophetic overview of Zimbabwe in 1997 just before the svosve farm invasions of 1998 took place. Then in 2000 they went into full operation.
White commercial farmers had these beliefs. They are so pathetic and so embarrassing that they will never admit to them, but I grew u with them and i know the way they think.

1 If a black Zimbabwean was driving a Mercedes, he became wealthy by corruption. No one ever commented a that a wealthy black Zimbabwean earned his own money in proper business.

2. Communal land farmers were thieves, stealing their maize. I know of a farmer who built a shotgun with a trip wire. When a person came into the field, the shotgun fired and the man was killed on the spot just because he wanted about 5 kilograms of maize to eat. This was permissible before 1980… but no one will ever admit to following this practice.

3. Communal land farmers craved to drive their cattle to graze the grass of the commercial farmers.

I never heard commercial farmers complimenting or praising communal land farmers.

The heart attitude towards black Zimbabweans [even after 1980 was that they were inferior, corrupt and helpless. Yet they possessed the land for a millennium before these farmers occupied the land. This view will never be admitted by them, but they all know it is true. How did they come to occupy Zimbabwean land? It was because there was a war through which the Shona were forcibly subjugated. There was no negotiation or payment for the land used by white commercial farmers.

There were a few commercial farmers who genuinely cared for black Zimbabweans, but I speak the truth before God. These were few and far between. When the land invasions began, sadly most of these righteous people also were driven off the land.

One of these people was Tom Blomefield, who, when he occupied the farm was approached by the local Guruve headman, Chimbwerere. The headman informed him that he was farming on ‘His land’, yet Blomefield had  title deeds. He was told to occupy the farm by the Rhodesian government since Blomefield was a ‘war veteran’ who had fought in the second world war.

Blomefield then did something unheard of. he paid a tribute of black cloth and a ball of tobacco every year. He also promised to not kill snakes and if he found a scaly ant eater, he would give it to the headman. He did this every year.

4. The government was corrupt. No one ever said anything good about the government, and especially about president Robert Mugabe.

5. Farm workers were lucky to be working for them, earning the equivalent of 60 usd per month. yet the farms were so profitable that they had houses in the city, boats on the lake and went on holiday to prime destinations every year. This was because of the excellence of their workers AS WELL AS their business ability.

prov 21. 1 The king’s heart [is] in the hand of the LORD, [as] the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Readers have to understand that Yahweh is totally sovereign. The king’s heart is moved, inspired and driven by God himself. And the heart of Mugabe was inspired and driven by God to remove white farmers and miners from the land, and from ownership of Zimbabwe’s resources.

It is a fact that Mugabe was imprisoned for years and that when his son died, he was forbidden to go to the funeral of his son. It is also true that commercial farmers despised him and were heard by black barmen in the farmers sports clubs. These barmen were obviously informants for the Central Intelligence organisation [CIO], and week after week their words were reported to the president. Even if Mugabe got as angry as a roaring lion because of this, it does not change the fundamental truth that God planned judgement on the farmers. The 100 year captivity was over.

President Robert Mugabe had divine calling to cleanse the land from the Rhodesian element. Despite severe opposition, sickness and age, he succeeded in carrying out his mission. Even he admits it is a miracle that he has had so much sickness, so much stress, so much opposition that should have killed him long ago. The answer is simple. God kept him alive to carry out the task given to him. Every year there are reports that Mugabe is either dead, or about to die- yet he lives and lives and lives. Yahweh is to blame for this. He appoints people to live or die; to be sick or to be healthy. Every day is another miracle of being alive for president Robert Mugabe. I will discuss him in the next post.

The years of judgement were coming to a close. At the same time God himself was weary of the racism, arrogance and rebelliousness of the Rhodesian element in Zimbabwe. God wanted to cleanse the land of them, and Mugabe was the one with the self discipline and determination and strength of will to do it.
Therefore the plan of God was to only allow European sovereignty over the land and its resources for a short 10o years. That time has now finished. Resources must be possessed by Zimbabweans again.

Please read these UNDERSTANDING ZIMBABWE series as it is full of biblical revelation concerning Zimbabwe and Europe.

SANGOMA’S AND N’ANGA’S ARE IDOLATRY, HATED BY GOD

Jeremiah warns the people of Israel that God has told them to NOT WORSHIP OTHER GODS. Idolatry is deeply offensive to God because no god or spirit loves the people of Zimbabwe like God does. No god or spirit has the wisdom knowledge and power to bless Zimbabwe like Mwari does. But evil spirits attempt to take the place of God. There is only one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ.

1 tim 2.5 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

Not only did Zimbabweans worship human ancestors, but they engaged evil spirits to bring infertility, sickness, bad fortune and even death. Small children are then for muti [charms to bring about the wishes of the owner] and killed so that businessmen can get rich. This is an abomination to God. His creation is being cruelly murdered. Definitely he will bring judgement on such a nation.

People not only neglect to pray to the living God, but they rush to sangoma’s and N’anga’s to get their wishes, desires and cravings answered. Yet there is a living God there to listen to prayer like a father listens to his children. Read scripture and then you can understand why Europeans came to Zimbabwe.

jer 25:6 Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, or provoke me to anger with the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’ 7 Yet you have not listened to me, declares the LORD, that you might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.

8 “Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: Because you have not obeyed my words, 9 behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, [Europe] declares the LORD, and for Nebuchadnezzar [Queen Victoria] the king of Babylon [Britain] , my servant [servant nation], and I will bring them against this land [Zimbabwe] and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them [Zimbabweans] to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation. 10 Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

11 This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. [Zimbabwe shall serve the Europeans 100 years]

12 Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon [Europeans] and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the LORD, making the land an everlasting waste. 13 I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations. 14 For many nations and great kings shall make slaves even of them, and I will recompense them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.”[God will punish Europeans for their racism, injustice and arrogance]

Jeremiah applies Deuteronomy 28 to Israel at the time of Nebuchadnezzar. Sin brings judgement. Obedience to the law of God brings blessing. I have to repeat myself again and again. It is not the prophecies of prophets, or the blessing of prophets, or having faith in confessing scripture, but OBEDIENCE to God that brings blessing. This same pattern of scripture applies to Zimbabweans. They sinned. God sent Europeans to punish the Ndebele for their violence and rape of the land. He then promised that Zimbabwe would be under the yoke of the Europeans for 100 years, then the Europeans would be removed from the land and God would punish the Europeans for their evils, but Zimbabweans would occupy their own land.

Three conditions would have to be fulfilled before God would return the land to Zimbabwe.

1. Once Zimbabweans believed the gospel and they were preaching the gospel to their own people, God would allow Zimbabweans to attain their own sovereignty.

2. Once Zimbabweans were professors at their own universities, teaching Zimbabweans the mysteries of technology, God would return the land to Zimbabweans.

3. Once they had the courage and strategic planning to war against the Rhodesians, and suffer the immense sacrifices necessary to win the war, God would return the land to the Zimbabweans.

Now Zimbabweans can talk to Jesus openly just as their ancestors did. They can dwell in their own land tending their own crops, but with knowledge of farming and using the technology available to them.

This is what God said to Zimbabwe in the 1850’s

‘I am going to give you over to the Europeans. They will defeat the Ndebele. They will bring my judgments on the Ndebele for the cruelty and the abducting of your children, but they will also punish you for murdering your children for muti, for turning to Sangoma’s and N’anga’s, and for worshipping ancestors. They will bring the gospel and they will teach you business and technology. When you turn to Jesus Christ, and when you can teach your own people technology, I will tell them to go back to their own land. I will punish them for their arrogance, racism and cruelty. I called them to serve you, but they dominated you in a manner that I did not wish.

The land you see will be completely changed. There will farms, barns, brick houses and cities where you see just bush and maize fields. They will employ you to work their fields, build their roads and build their houses, but in the end all these things you have worked for will be given back to you. For 100 years you will build this nation, then you will live in the nation you built.

Go to the next post to get more biblical insight into this mystery of why God promised, long in advance, that Zimbabweans would move into a ready made civilization.

This is an interpretation of history. An explanation of why europeans were sent to Zimbabwe and why they were [mostly] removed from Zimbabwe…and why the very limited 100 years captivity….based in scripture

I am giving an example of what a true prophet would have said. There will be 100 years of humiliation because we have turned away from Mwari [The one who is] and we have followed ancestorral spirits who are no gods.

before colonization Zimbabwe was civilized in its own, the amazing architectural designs at Great Zimbabwe and the smelting of iron ore into metal. Worship in Zimbabwe was to the Almighty (Musikavanhu) and non believers practiced witchcraft. It is not true that the people of Zimbabwe only came to worship the Almighty after the coming in of the Whites. Checking on archival material on Great Zimbabwe you can find that as early as 1500 the Mwenemutapa had a bible , which means he could read . He had agreements with other nations such as Portugal so Zimbabwe was civil before colonization. Without the settling of whites in Zimbabwe the nation could still have moved on to become a modern state. Ethiopia is a modern state but was never colonized. The colonization of Zimbabwe and occupation of Zimbabwe by foreign groups of people is a subject that deserves proper treatment , analysis and revelation .
